H is for Holly. That is the word I have chose for the Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary challenge this time.
H was one of the easier letters, so many possibilities.
The stamp is from Woodware and it has been coloured with inktense watercolour pencils as usual but with some Wink of Stella on top. The sparkle is subtle so does not photograph well.
Hope those of you in the UK are enjoying the August Bank Holiday if you have the day off. I am off out now for a wander in the sunshine.
You must be into berries at the moment.....holly....blackberries.... Nice page!

Lovely stamp, beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteI love this - there's just something about having the dictionary pages as the background which is so pleasing, and your holly berries look great.

Julia, you made this look absolutely PERFECT. I am in love with your holly. It is simply gorgeous with the dictionary definition in the background. I really like the touch of blue you used for the bow, too. It sets the holly branch off nicely.
ReplyDeleteFabulous stamp, and it looks to be a good size - or is that a small dictionary? ;D
ReplyDeleteGreat stamp, a good size for your dictionary page and very well coloured.
ReplyDeleteA lovely stamp which fits the page perfectly and beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful page and your holly is coloured beautifully.
