Clouds

My second post today and probably inspired by our very wet rainy Easter Sunday.

Here is my twinchie for the Twinchie Challenge blog where the theme is "Clouds".

My clouds are hand drawn on a background scrap of card with random splodges of pewter distress stain and the raindrops coloured with Promarkers. My clouds are mean.

Twinchie Challenge : Film

The theme for this week's Twinchie challenge is "Film" which could be interpreted in many ways but I have chosen a film that I have loved since a child. The film I chose is Wuthering Heights. There have been many film versions of Emily Bronte's book but for me the best film is the 1939 production by Samuel Goldwyn starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. 

My Twinchie shows the moors, or my interpretation of it. The background was made using blueberry and grape metallic gelatos, scribbled on a craft sheet, spritzed with water and the card swiped through it. It gives a nice moody moorland sky look. The tree is stamped in Tuxedo Black memento dewdrop ink and the grasses too. I drew in the dry stone wall and bank so the tree had something to land on.
Then I added a piece of Tim Holtz film tape using staples and the title. 

I enjoyed this challenge, its given me some ideas for bigger projects.
