Its been a while since my last post, seems like an age. I have not been slacking, just not completed any of the projects I have been playing with lately. I've so many ideas buzzing around in my head and so many bits of experimental projects, its like that sometimes but all good fun.

On Sunday I picked up a copy of the new Get Stamping magazine, a nice selection of clear stamps with the magazine to add to my collection. One works nicely for this week's Less is More challenge which is a simple sketch by Jen :

Here is my card that I will enter in the challenge :

The word stamp was free with the magazine and was stamped with grey versafine ink and the word surprise highlighted with a red pen. Mounted on black card with red ribbon. Add the birthday sentiment and red button. I like the simple layout, very minimalist.
I probably should not have taken the photo of a white card on a white background but too late, it is done.

  1. So simple & so clean, I thought it was a nice set of stamps too Julia!

  2. So sleek and elegant - a lovely make, Julia!

  3. Love the words stamped in grey with the black frame and touches of red. Very chic, Julia. x

  4. This looks great, I love the touch of red!
    Thanks so much
