That is the word I chose for the Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary challenge this time. I have a lot of aircraft related images so a great opportunity to to use up some of my Tim Holtz bits as a collage style page. Here it is :
All paper ephemera from Tim Holtz Idea-ology. The aeroplane is stamped onto white paper that was stained with distress stains, pumice stone and old paper, then cut out and added to the page. I added a small compass stamp to the passenger ticket to tie in the red and highlighted the definition. Job done, I hope you like it.
Isn'it great when you have a choice of supplies for the word... "A" was easy, thankfully! Love your page and all its aircraft related details.
ReplyDeleteLeaving on a jet plane sometime soon or merely dreaming of a holiday? Nice make for the dictionary challenge- mine is not stamped so can't join :-(

Ha, you guessed correctly. I have booked a weekend trip to the Isle of Man in July.
DeleteYou don't have to use stamping for Craft Barn challenges, you can enter your page, the only rule is that the definition must be visible. There is no twist on the A challenge so your page is perfect for this one.
Yes Sally, as Julia says, you do not have to stamp to join in our challenges, diecuts, your own drawing, whatever you fancy. Hope you'll join us at The Craft Barn Challenge.

A great word for using all those aircraft-related images and the pops of red really add to the page.
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call an over-the-top mixed media gem. What wonderful pieces you added to create this spread. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super page. All your aircraft bits and pieces work together perfectly! Lou x
ReplyDeleteWell there is no doubting what word you chose - great images!
ReplyDeleteLove your aircraft page, great composition.
ReplyDeleteI love how you have combined everything together so the colours compliment and it comes together as a whole x
ReplyDeleteGreat collage - perfect!
ReplyDeleteA great collage - the aeroplane really looks as if it's flying off the page.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page, have not been to the Isle of Man!! Thank you for entering The Craft Barn Challenge.

Oh, that's terrific - love the aeroplane emerging from the page, and great use of the ephemera. Sorry I've not been by in a while, but it's always fun catching up!
